 Psalms 27:6 (KJV) And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Being lifted up means to move a person to a new position of rank, power and favor. 

Psalms 147:6 (KJV) The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.


Being lifted up means to move from a place of defeat to a place of victory.

Micah 7:8 (KJV) Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD [shall be] a light unto me.


Being lifted up means to move from a limited, tight space to an open wide space. 

Habakkuk 3:19 (KJV) The LORD God [is] my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' [feet], and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.


Being lifted up is to move from being dispirited to raising the spirit.

Psalms 146:8 (KJV) The LORD openeth [the eyes of] the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous.


A pushed down head.

Luke 13:11 (KJV) And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up [herself].


Troubles push my head down

Psalms 55:3 (KJV) Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.


Iniquities push my head down

Psalms 38:4 (KJV) For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.


Innumerable evils push my head down

Psalms 40:12 (KJV) For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.


Emotional and moral brokenness push my head down.

Isaiah 1:5 (KJV) Why should ye be stricken anymore? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.


Life’s overwhelming circumstances push my head down.

Lamentations 3:54 (KJV) Waters flowed over mine head; [then] I said, I am cut off.


Discouragement pushes my head down.

Hebrews 12:12 (KJV) Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;


The enemy of my soul can push my head down.

Psalms 143:3 (KJV) For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.


Any Crisis in life can push my head down.

Job 2:13 (KJV) So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that [his] grief was very great.


When I believe that God is against me, my head is pushed down.

Job 19:10 (KJV) He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.


Failures in my life can push my head down.

Matthew 26:75 (KJV) And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out and wept bitterly.


God is the lifter of my head

Psalms 3:3 (KJV) But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.


Isaiah 40:26 (KJV) Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these [things], that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that [he is] strong in power; not one faileth.


Psalms 24:7 (KJV) Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
